Autoformats in Excel 2002
Dear All,
I am new to excel 2002 and would like to know if it is possible to modify or create autoformats for pivot tales so that I can effectively use the old ones from excel 97 in my vba code. Can anyone help? Gary Settery |
You can't add to the AutoFormat list that appears when you're formatting
a pivot table, or modify the existing formats. However, you can use the following workaround: Select a cell in a regular table in the workbook (e.g. the pivot table data source) Choose FormatAutoFormat Select the formatting you want on the pivot table Click OK Select a cell in the pivot table Press the F4 key, to repeat the previous formatting You can then go back to the regular table, and set its AutoFormat to None Gary Settery wrote: Dear All, I am new to excel 2002 and would like to know if it is possible to modify or create autoformats for pivot tales so that I can effectively use the old ones from excel 97 in my vba code.
