I there an easy way to find out if any formula reference a cell?
With the help of y'all I have updated and simplified many of my formulas and
no longer need the results from some of the cells but I don't know if I correct all of them so before I start deleting them I would like to know if any formulas need the results from these cells. I know how to go to the cell and high light the formula and the cells the formula uses are shown but is there away to find if the cell is needed in a formula other than delete the info and see if you get any errors messages and than undo? Thanks Marc |
One way:
Select the cell of interest and choose Tools/Auditing/Trace Dependents. alternatively, choose View/Toolbars and select the Auditing toolbar. Select your cell and click on the Trace Dependents button.
