Global Macro
Hi,
Using Excel '97. How do I create a set of Global Excel macros? In MS word I simply put a .dot file in the microsoft office/office/STARTUP folder, and the macros are automatically available. How is that done for Excel? I''ve tried to put both ..xlt and .xls files in the STARTUP folder, but nothing appears Thanks -Bo |
Add them to the personal.xls file.

Hi Bob,
As far as I understand personal.xls should be opened in some kind of invisible mode. On my excel '97 system personal.xls is opened just like any 'normal' xls file upon starting Excel. That is - it is visible and ready for editing. I doesn't really help me a lot - but thanks anyway. -Bo "Bob Phillips" wrote in message ... Make personal.xls the active window (so you can see it).
Then window|Hide Now close excel and answer yes to the "do you wanna save personal.xls" prompt? Next time you open excel, personal.xls will open hidden.
