filtered area
I've set up auto filter. For some columns I have Validation rules for whole
column (can be relevant). I have 4 rows entered. But, when I filter some column the next row after the last filtered row can be # 15. So, when user filters the column and enters data into the first empty row that is #15 the rows from #5 to #14 are empty. How could I fix it and make possible to see and enter the data into the first empty row after filtering. Thanks, Alex |
Hi, the problem is that "empty cells are not really empty, they have a code even though they appear to be clean. For that you will have to clean the blank data. To help you with that, first I need to know if you're filtering names, numbers, formulas or what -- NlCO ------------------------------------------------------------------------ NlCO's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=26123 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=399671 |
Thanks, NICO.
I'm just doing a simple filtering by using auto filter by text in cells. Some columns have a validation up to the column's end. Some columns have formulas but up to entered data. The problem is when I'm deleting the data in a whole row and doing a filtering again this empty row is not shown as a next row after the filtered area.
