I sent a file to excel and is encrypted, why?
I scanned a book report and sent it to ms excel 2003, when excel opened it was encrypted or garble. How do I formated so that it looks like the original. My scanner saved the file as (.TIF) Please help me, as thia has happend be4. thank you Lou |
If the file has been saved a s aTIF file then it is an image and not a file
that excel is capable of opening. Find the file in Windows explorer and just double click it, or if you really want to see it in excel, then in a worksheet use Insert / Picture / From File then find and select that file and hit OK. -- Regards Ken....................... Excel is a spreadsheet program, not a graphics viewer. Double-click on the
..tif file to see it in the image viewer app. -- "Lou" wrote in message ... I scanned a book report and sent it to ms excel 2003, when excel opened it was encrypted or garble.
