Show last files used in File dropdown menu
 

The File dropdown menu has always shown the last 3 files I used at the bottom
of the menu, but someone in my family has done something to turn this feature
off. How do I turn it back on? I know this is a simple question, but I
can't seem to get a simple answer!!

Tools <options<.general
tick the "recently used file list"
