Excel 2003
I use a customized toolbar in Excel 2000. I have assigned macors to these
customized buttons. I have just started using Excel 2003 and cannot figure out how to make it so a macro is usable in every workbook. In 2000, I set up a startup file .xla in the xcel\stratup directory. Is there a similar way to do thi in 2003. I have several unique macros that I use and have obtained from this Excel user groups. Also is there an easy way to copy over all the commands and macros? Thanks for your help Craig |
Craig,
You can create a "Personal Macro Workbook" that loads every time with Excel. Go to: Tools Macros Record New Macro In the drop down menu select: Personal Macro Workbook This action, creates a Personal Macro Workbook that loads every time, henceforth. You can then access it via ALT + F11 and copy and paste all your favourite macro procedures, and assign them to a buttons on your toolbar. Hope this helps.
