Numbering lines

I know line numbering can be done automatically but it also places
headers and I do not want headers.
I would like to start A1 with the number 100, then A2 with 101 and so
on down the page. How can I do this?

I appreciate your assistance.

CLR

After typing 100 in A1 and 101 in A2, highlight both of those cells and grab
the "handle" in the lower right corner of A2 and drag it down column A as
far as you want numbers.......

CLR

You're welcome Raphael, thanks for the feedback..........
This method also works to re-order a column where you might have deleted a
bunch of rows and consequently a bunch of numbers in column A, just go back
to A1:A2 and repeat this process and it will overwrite all the old numbers
and return the column to sequential numbers.........
