Is it possible to have a listbox in the Inputbox option so the user
can choose the item required rather than typing the item himself. thanks Pete |

No, the built-in input boxes, dialog boxes, msgboxes cannot be customized.
They all (most) have options available, but you are limited to those options. You can add a limited amount of text to an input box that listed choices. Or you could in a msgbox response to an incorrect entry, list the acceptable entries.
