Average of time

Hi,

Within Excel 2007, I need to calculate the average of the following time values in days, hours, minutes and seconds :

00:18:09:26
00:05:34:50
00:07:41:06
01:22:52:55
00:00:55:48

I've tried using =AVERAGE(A1:A5) and changing the format of the values to various settings, but keep getting DIV/O as the result.

Help ????

Hi,

we have to use the delimit option to split the data and we approach the average function.

Thanks for the screen shot you posted here, it is really helpful in explaining most of the things.
