1. Please how do I open a file saved as Dbase 4 version in MS Excel 2000?

Select...
FILE / OPEN
and select the 'File as type:' box. For dBase, select '.dbf ' from the
dropdown list.
An Excel 97 file will open without a problem in Excel 2000 simply by
selection it.
If you want to save an Excel file as a dBase IV file, select...
FILE / SAVE AS
and select the 'File as type:' box for 'DBF 4 (dBase IV)(*.dbf) in the
dropdown list.
