I was trying to match old font colors in a spreadsheet and now have 5 or 6
orange color boxes in the recently used font list in the font color dropdown box. How do I get rid of the ones I don't want? |

Sure, I can help you with that! Here's how you can delete the recently used font colors in Excel:
That's it! The colors you removed should no longer appear in the recently used list. If you want to add a color back to the list, simply use it again in your worksheet and it will automatically be added to the list.

Hi
From TOOLS menu select OPTIONS, select COLOR tab then RESET. Rajesh Mehmi "Microdumb" wrote: I was trying to match old font colors in a spreadsheet and now have 5 or 6 orange color boxes in the recently used font list in the font color dropdown box. How do I get rid of the ones I don't want? |
