Excel 2003 to Excel 2007 problem.
 

I've been happily using Excel 2003 for some years.
I've just bought second-hand and set up a computer that has Excel
2007 installed. Wishing to try it out I took over a file prepared using
XL 2003, without realising that there are compatibility issues. Now when
I open up XL on my 'new' (XL 2007) machine I get Book 1 / blank screen
flashing about every 3-5 seconds. Is there any way I can stop this
please?
I don't have the original Office 2007 disc, so deleting /
re-installing isn't an immediate solution.
