How do I turn off autocorrect for dates in a cells. I type in a date such as
2006 and it changes to 2009?

In xl2007 you'll find the autocorrection options at: OfficeButton Excel
Options Proofing.
If this is in fact an autocorrection you should find an entry in the
"Replace text as you type" list. Select the entry to modify or delete it.
.... Such an entry would have to be specifically created and that seems
unlikely??. There may be something else amiss.
