Hi
Assuming you set up a list of items on sheet2 with Item name in column A and price per item in column B =IF(COUNT(B2:D2),SUM(B2:D2)*VLOOKUP($A2,Sheet2!$A: $B,2,0),"") -- Regards Roger Govier "strider" wrote in message ... i have created a table which has in A2 Hand Towels B2 has the value 1 quantuty C2 has 1 D2 has 1 and E2 has the total 3 i wish to create a situation in F2 where i will get a result which will be the total price, Hand Towels in A2 will have attached to it the price £0.75 for each towel in this cell and somehow a formula which will take the value in B2 C2 D2 and multiply by the curency value atached to Hand Towels in A2 how can i do this ?. |

Hi,
where is the price for hand towels located? On a different sheet or on the same sheet? Sounds like you data is laid out this way?: A B C D E F Hand Towels 1 1 1 =Sum(B2:D2) =.75*E2 -- If this helps, please click the Yes button.
