I am using Excel 2003.
I have a spreadsheet in which two columns are locked and password protected. What I would like to do is display a message whenever anybody trys to access these cells. What I want is very much like a Comment (it would appear when the cursor moves over the cell) but if used it would mean copying the Comment to every protected cell. Is there a more space efficent solution? While this may seem overkill, as they cannot access the cells, unless there is a message to tell them to keep away the users are liable to wreck the rest of the spreadsheet trying to get into the protected cells. Many thanks in advance for your help. Sean |
