How can I preview a file?

when I go to File/Open under Views I can select Previews. Now some of my files have a preview, but most don't. How can I force Excel to show this preview for all files? Thanks for your help Horst Excel 2000 Win 2000 |

This is not a global setting and must be done for each workbook individually.
