Is there away to have specific cells unlock based on the entry of information in another?
Is there away to have specific cells unlock based on the entry of
information in another? I want to have a series of questions that have to be answered before you can enter information into a corresponding set of cells. I would also need to have the answer generate a value in another cell. Marc |

You can prevent data entry into a cell until a criteria is met in other cells. Check it out in the Help files and also he http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/validation.htm -- HTH, RD --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the NewsGroup, so all may benefit ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Marc" wrote in message link.net...
