I have a good grasp on Excel in general, except macros.
If I could learn to program macros and customize them to my needs, I could
greatly reduce repetitive work.

Where is the best place to get started learning to build macros?

Or, simply Google "VBA Excel Tutorial"

Or, you can pick up enough to get you started simply by recording
(Tools-Macro)yourself doing different things, and then viewing the code
(Alt+F11).

Buy Excel VBA Programming for Dummies by John Walkenbach, excellant book for
starter, just bought it last month. Keep reading these post, especially "excel
programming", and practice.

If you like to experiment, you could try to record a macro and then look at
the code.
