How do you lead of with a zero on a spreadsheet? For example, 000635.
Excel wants to delete the zeros with just 635 in the cell. TIA |

You can start by formatting your cells as "Text" or you can start typing your numbers with an apostrophe e.g '00234. The apostrophe will not show in the cells HTH John wrote in message ... On entry, precede the value with a single quote.
