Can't sort by date
How can I sort a spreadsheet by a column full of dates? Even though type is
"date" when I sort by that column, the result seems to be random. I can't make sense of the order even assuming it is sorting like text. The sort does happen, because it changes when I switch between ascending and descending. |
Is the cell column formated as date? The only thing I can think up is that
the fact the the cell column is not in a date format and that maybe it's was just a general cell and that it might be sorted by that time of last change for the cell that it was work on last. If I highlight the cells in the column and click "format cells," it opens
with "date" highlighted under "category" and "3/14/98" highlighted under "type." "Kenny Dee" wrote in message ... Is the cell column formated as date?
