Merging cells via alignment isn't working anymore.
What to do te restore this function?

Merging cells not working
 

There is some functionality that's disabled when a workbook is shared
(although I'm not sure what all is disabled). Might that be your problem?

Don't share anything. Working alone on my PC.
When there is something disabled, how can i restore it?
