saving a data item
How do I save the results of a cell so that when I restart the work sheet
will automatically reload that data value into a cell for reuse? I using Excell 2000 at the moment. Thanks for your help. -- Mike |

I'm not sure I understand the question. Aren't the results of the cell
available when you reopen Excel? Barb Reinhardt "Mike" wrote: How do I save the results of a cell so that when I restart the work sheet will automatically reload that data value into a cell for reuse? I using Excell 2000 at the moment. Thanks for your help. -- Mike |

Just another guess ..
You can do an "in-place" Copy n Paste Special as Values to freeze formulae returned values in cells/ranges if desired If your formulae uses RAND/RANDBETWEEN, these will recalculate to new values eg whenever you re-open the file, unless you freeze it prior to saving -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 Downloads:19,000 Files:362 Subscribers:61 xdemechanik --- "Mike" wrote: How do I save the results of a cell so that when I restart the work sheet will automatically reload that data value into a cell for reuse?
