What is the object of embedding, what is it used for?
 

I use excel often, but am only self taught, a work coluige embedded a excel
file by accedent but we think thne use could for us usable, what is the
pourpus of embedding and what is its use?

I assume the excel file is embedded in another program e.g. Word?
