formula problems
I am having trouble with my excel spreadsheet. I enter a 7 digit number
under each day of the month in one row. In another row I formulate those numbers to subtract then divide by 1000. For example I am attempting to formulate cell E12 to do the following formula =(F10-E10)/1000. I then puxh enter and the formula works. This is now where the problem exixts. As I have always done in the past, I place my curser on the corner of cell E12 until I get a solid black cross and drag it from the E12 to AI12. The proper formulas have been dragged across the row, but it has dragged the the same number across the entire row, which is not accurate according to the numbers I have placed in across row 12, which indicates the days of the month.......Please help....very frustrated |
