organising my credit card debts
 

Hi I am trying to create a excel spreadsheet to document my outstanding and
payments made on my credit cards, I havent used excel that much and was
wondering how i would create formula;s to do all the calculations for me I
would like the outstanding and then payments made then total owed, plus i
would also like to have a total at the bottom or where ever that shows all my
credit card debts totaled together prob doesnt make sense but i cant think of
any other way to describe it like i said i havent used the program much if at
all really, any help would be great i have 4 cards and a personal loan i
would like to keep track of. cheers veronica

If it were me trying to take care of my credit card debts, I would use a
specialized program like Money or Quicken.
It is so easy to keep track of your debts with either one of these programs.
Download a free trial and see what you think.
I personally use Money and after using Money, I would never try to set up
Excel to do what Money does.
Just too tedious.
Try the Debt reduction planner in Money, you will see why you should never
pay the minimum on your monthly credit card payment.
