basic solver question

I am trying to use solver (1st time in yrs) to determine the best mix of
hours for 13 users based on each user's unit of production in order to max
production.

For target cell: max total production; formula total hours for unit *
unit's average unit of production

By changing cell: hours spent in queue for each user; each user spent
different amounts of time in the queue

w/constraint cell: total hours available < or = to total hours for the month
(b/c the goal is to maintain the same hours or less but change the mix b/c
some users produce at higher levels than others).

I get a message telling me either my target cell or constraint cell
conflicts. I don't get what I am doing wrong.

You should give us more details on what cells you are talking about.
Or send me (my private email) a sample workbook
best wishes
