Summing a group of numbers
 

Awhile back I could hold down the right mouse button and select a group of
numbers. The sum of these numbers would show on the bottom of the page. I
have lost the ability to do this. Is there a way to get it back?

No right mouse button needed. Simple highlight the numbers. If the sum
doesn't show on the Status bar, right-click the status bar where the numbers
used to appear and choose Sum from the popup menu.

One reason this would not work would be if the numbers are not really
numbers but are text.
