How do I get my words to go vertically in Excel?
 
I am not sure how to get my words to go vertically on top on my spreadsheet
in excel.

Select all the cells you want to edit, right click and select "Format Cells",
then choose the "Alignment" Tab. from there you can set the orientation of
the text to whatever degree you desire.

What do you mean by *go verically* ? do you mean like

If so press and hold the Alt key whle you press the Enter key after every
letter.

OR ... use XL's built in featu

Select the cell, then, from the Menu Bar:

<Format <Cells <Alignment tab,

And under the "Orientation" section,
Click on the box to the left of the "Degree Box",
the one that displays "Text" in a vertical orientation.
