Question: Why was EXCEL changed so radically in the the new version?

- To make money?
- To confuse people?
- To make business easier?
- To challenge people?
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi all

I hope someone can help me with this problem.

I Have EXCEL 2007 installed on my laptop but i am working on a file
created in EXCEL 2003.

I have been asked to create a spreadsheet to highlight an order date if
it is outstanding or if it nearing it's due date.

i think I need to use thetoday() function and also conditional
formatting ie GREEN if an item is on order or if it has arrived,
AMBER/YELLOW if it is near it's delivery date (perhaps 2 daysor so) and
RED if it has not arrived.

I have looked at various manuals and help forums but I am at a loss.
although I am new to this forum I am not totally new to EXCEL.

I would be happy to send a sample file to anyone who is kind enough to
help

I would be extremely grateful or any help or advice.

Many thanks

Shweta
