Excel is a spreadsheet program. It does not have wordproecessing features.

Type in 1.1 ksjdhfgrytth then Alt + Enter to get an in-cell linefeed.
Type in 1.2 qwertyuiop then Alt + Enter When done hit Enter key alone.
