It goes in the cell in which you want the result. Perhaps in B1 if your

i did it at cell and top left where your locations is but i get an err mesage

sorry but it is not working i typed in B1 =A1&"etc.com"
and it looks like this when i hit enter. blue and underlined then it goes to B2 leaveing looking just like ubove by the way i have 3445 cells i need to do this to anyway to do them all at one time ? ok it worked after i closed it and started up again
anyway to do all 3445 at one time ? If you have your names in A1 to A3445, and the formula in B1, then
just select B1 and double-click the fill handle - this is the small black square in the bottom right corner of the cursor. The formula will then be copied down automatically into the cells B2:B3445, and each should show the email addresses as you want them. Hope this helps.
