Preventing incrementation of section of a formulae

=VLOOKUP(A30,Sheet1!A1:C3,3,FALSE)

The above is a formulae that i will be dragging through my worksheet,
problem is a dont want this section ....Sheet1!A1:C3,......)
incrementing, is this possible? If so what do i do?

Preventing incrementation of section of a formulae

=VLOOKUP(A30,Sheet1!$A$1:$C$3,3,FALSE)

The $ signs make the references absolute so they don't change.
