running avg formula that ignores blanks
I am attempting to build a formula that averages a column of data (that gets
added to every day), but ignores, or does not include blank rows. Any hints? |

Put your numbers in column A.
Empty some cells. Put that formula in B1. You'll see that =average() ignores text and empty cells. Happy wrote: I'm not sure I understand this........ possible to give an example?
