I have an assignment that saYS I CAN PUT A LINE OF BEST FIT FOR MY GRAPH
AUTOMATICALLY BUT I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO

Plot a line graph. Right-click anywhere on the line Choose "Add TrendLine"
then make the options in the dialog ..

Right-click on the graph of data points, "Add trendline".

But if you want to use the values (slope, intercept, r2) in the worksheet
then use the appropriate function SLOPE, INTERCEPT, RSQ - or use LINEST
