How do I get Office 2007 to show me the full path of a file?
In previous versions of Microsoft Office you could have the name of the
current file and it's full path appear at the top of the screen. Now, with Office 2007 all I can get is the file name. How do I get it to show the full path? |

I've used Excel 95, 97, 2000, XP and 2003. I don't recall ever having seen
the full path displayed in Excel's title bar, just the File name. If I recall, whether that filename includes the extention is based on your Windows Explorer Settings (ToolsFolderOptionsView:Display known extensions), but the DisplayFullPath settings in WindowsExplorer have no similar effect in Excel. But maybe that's just me. HTH, "rob653" wrote in message ... In previous versions of Microsoft Office you could have the name of the current file and it's full path appear at the top of the screen.
