Getting rid of the grid
 
I have finished a spreadsheet and I would like to make it look a little
slicker. If there any way to remove the cell edges so It is just white.

ToolsOptionsView tab, uncheck Gridlines

Getting rid of the grid
 
Select all cells, by clicking on the square to the left of the Column letter
A
and above the Row number 1, then format the fill colour to white.
