How do I turn off the spell checker when using Excel?
I'm using a large database of names addresses and dates and other misc. items
in Excel and the spell checker won't leave me alone. I don't wish to correct any of my data but spell checker insists on telling me every line has an error. |

Are sure it is the Spell checker and not "error checking"?
Do you have green triangles in the upper left corner or the cells? You can turn this off by going to ToolsOptionsError Checking and disable it. If indeed spell checker, what is triggering it. Are you hitting F7 or have event code behind the worksheet?
