I can sort one column but the other column(s)' information does not follow
its corresponding info from the sorted column - how do I make this work,

Marcelo,

Thank you for your kind and timely reply.
I figured out how to select all - I highlighted all by clicking on the top
left cell (above 1 and to the left of A) and then chose Data, Sort, and then
chose the column letter that I wished to sort. It seems so simple now.
Best regards, lovetoflyfish

As long as you do not have gaps in your data, you can click anywhere in
the data and CTRL-A will select the data before you sort.

Hope this helps.

Thank you as well, Pete_UK,

I have never been one to use keyboard shortcuts - have no good answer for
that one.
It has been nice to see and receive help so quickly - I'm not used to that
in my own home!

Best regards to all,
