WebData Substitute

Folks:

Excel 2007 has an add-on called WebData. Essentially it can use any web page
as a data source and download content to the spreadsheet.
* Is there any software program out there than can be used to perform the
same tasks as WebData ?

Thanks,
JoJo

You could always use your import function. Click the data ribbon and look
for the "From Web" item.

I have been reading a book called "Excel Advanced Report Development". This
book mentions several methods of gathering data from databases and other
sources. You might research the web to see what type of information you can
find. There is a lot of that type of stuff out there if you know where to
look.

I haven't seen this but maybe you can do the same thing with external
queries?
