Link problems after installing Office Service Pack 3
Linking to an Access query was no problem until Office SP2. since SP3 it is.
What do I do: - In access I put the query on the clipboard - In Excel paste the query with Paste Link. No problem until SP2: the formula bar shows name of database and query, since SP3 only the name of the database appears in the formula bar. The cells show all: #Name? Any clue? Thanks! |

Link problems after installing Office Service Pack 3
Hi Bill,
Thanks, I know that's the best way to do it. Still, the quick and dirty way of copy and paste link is fast and easy now and then. It is strange that a servicepack prevents this all...
