how do you link a formula from worksheet with cells from another worksheet
within t he same workbook? tweak this to do both work sheets worksheet 1= day worksheet 2=night tweak this formula to grab "N" from the dayshift worksheet ex: =COUNTIF(B5:B46,"N")*1 |

Assuming your input sheet is called Day Shift (i.e. has spaces) you
use: =COUNTIF('Day Shift'!B5:B46,"N") Notes: The single quotes around the sheet name are only necessary if the sheet name contains spaces. Otherwise they can be omitted. Also, I cannot see any reason in this context for multiplying with 1. HTH Kostis Vezerides |
