I want to turn off Text Import Wizard

I am trying to import information that I want in one cell but because
of multiple colons and semicolons it is automatically put in different
cells. Is there any way to turn this off and/or turn off the text
import wizard?

When you are using the import wizard, don't select colon or semi-colon as
delimiters.

I want to turn off Text Import Wizard

I assume your file has an extension of .txt - one way if you have
several of these files to import is to change the extension to .xyz (or
something of your own choosing, not used by any other application).
Then you can double-click the file icon, and the first time you do this
Windows will bring up a dialogue box saying it can't open the file -
click on Search from List and then in the Open With box you should
scroll down and highlight Excel and ensure the "Always use the selected
program to open this file" is checked. You can also add a brief
description if you wish, then click OK.

Subsequently when you double-click a file with this extension, Excel
will automatically open and the data will be imported only into the
first column. So, all you will need to do when you have a new file to
import (monthly?) is to change the extension and then double-click it.

Hope this helps.
