Hello

We have sum,max,min... etc so why we don,t have function like Distinct
count, which is there in varios apllication like crystal reports

This will count unique (distinct) entries in the range A1:A10:

=SUMPRODUCT((A1:A10<"")/COUNTIF(A1:A10,A1:A10&""))

Yes, I've seen it.

30 min calc times isn't too bad considering what it does!

Agreed. The time taken to generate all the combinations would vary depending
on the PC's specs, etc.
