yes there are loads of trig functions just look under functions in your
formula part and math and trig, but remember they are in radians not
degrees

to convert degrees into radians x PI()/180 but i am sure you know that

=DEGREES(ATAN(A1))...returns the angle, in degrees, whose tan is the
value in A1

=ATAN(A1)...returns the angle, in radians, whose tan is the value in A1
