In excel you have to protect the entire worksheet and then select a range
that can be edited. You should also have a function if you want to protect individual cells only or a range of cells and the rest of the worksheet can be edited ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
