How do I separate the alpha prefix from a text (abc123 or a1234)?
I cannot use Text-to-column as the alpha spacing is inconsistent. Is there a
formula that I can use to pull the alpha (or numberic) prefix from a text in Excel. Ex: abc123 ab1234 abcd12345 123abc 12abcde Thanks! |

ASAP Utilities, a free Add-in available at www.asap-utilities.com has
features that will delete all alpha characters and/or all numeric characters.......... Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "kskaug1" wrote: I cannot use Text-to-column as the alpha spacing is inconsistent.
