Default if function display

When I type a formula in the "true" value, the formula is displayed and not
the result of the formula. Please advise how to ensure that the numerical
result is displayed

Hi

would have helped to see your formula .. but it should be in the format of:

=IF(A1=100,A1+B1,A1-B1)

if this doesn't help, please repost with your actual formula

Cheers
