automatic subtotal
Have Excel 2003. Can not get the Automatic Subtotal in a list function to
work. When I select a range of data (labels) within my table, the menu command Data - - Subtotal is "greyed out". If I select data on the same worksheet, but NOT in the table, I can use the menu command Data --Subtotal. I have reviewed the help topics in Excel and followed each step, but to no avail. My teacher has also tried to get the function to work. Any hints? |
