Pivot table and Dsum security
Can someone tell if it is possible to secure a pivot table? (Aside from
locking down the cells.) If you also know how to secure the Dsum fuction please let me know. Thank you, Heather |
Pivot table and Dsum security
It's not foolproof, but you can use worksheet protection, or programming
to lock parts of the pivot table. There's sample code he http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot12.html A cell with a DSUM formula can be locked, and the sheet protected.
